Grant Luna grew up in a construction family wearing a hard hat at work sites: “Hard work in fresh air with good people made me appreciate construction and this country. It was my good luck to work as a laborer flagging, setting pipe, installing fence, and a gunnite nozzle man. After joining the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) I was sent out and worked as an operator of rollers, dozers, scrapers, back hoes, and also worked as a grease monkey and diesel mechanic. It was an honor to volunteer and serve this country as an Enlisted Seabee during the Vietnam War before starting law school.”

Grant Luna graduated with honors from USD Law School and practiced in the Construction Field in Las Vegas before beginning a practice in California.
