Mr. Rice was admitted to the Bar in 1977. He has spent his entire 30 year career as a trial attorney. Mr. Rice began his career trying lawsuits as a Deputy City Attorney and subsequently as an Assistant City Attorney.
After leaving the public sector in 1986, Mr. Rice began defending personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits including construction site accidents. GRANT B. LUNA

Mr. Luna is an experienced trial lawyer with a background in the construction industry. Mr. Luna is the first son of a Construction Superintendent. He began working in the construction field at the age of 15 in the labor union installing fences along a newly constructed railroad bed in Montana. He worked as a flagman and on a pipe crew in Oregon. He also worked as a nozzleman on a gunnite crew in Idaho. Mr. Luna was in the International Union of Operating Engineers for 10 years working summers in Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington as an operator on scrapers and dozers,to put himself through college. Mr. Luna enlisted in the Navy Sea Bees during the Vietnam War and was an equipment operator. Mr. Luna graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Diego Law School and worked for construction firms in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. He then returned to San Diego to work for local construction companies in his own firm. Mr. Luna became a Senior Vice President of an insurance company in the claims department insuring major construction companies in Southern California in construction site injury and death cases.
He was also head of a 50 lawyer firm representing construction companies in civil and Workers' Compensation litigation. In 2000, Mr. Luna retired from defense litigation and founded the firm of Luna & Luna. Mr. Luna's firm specializes in representing workers injured in construction site accidents.
